What's On 4 Junior Awards 2017 : Terms & Conditions of Entry

'We', 'Us' and 'Our' refer to What’s On 4 Ltd. 'You' and 'Your' refer to the individual or organisation registered to participate in one or more award categories.
The promoter of these awards is What’s On 4 Ltd
Nominations are open to companies and individuals that publically offer activities for babies and children or provide venue/party services or provide products intended to support or supplement activities for babies and children at home as defined by the award categories.
You may nominate yourself or a company that You are associated with.
Companies and individuals may be entered in one or more award categories if relevant.
Before registering for any award categories, please ensure You have read the award category criteria and awards timeline, to ensure that You qualify for these awards and can attend the awards ceremony. One complimentary ticket is available to each finalist and extra guest tickets will be available for a small fee subject to availability.
Upon receipt of Your registration form and payment Your registration and participation will be confirmed.
Winners and Highly Commended are required to receive their Award at this award ceremony. You may send a representative in special circumstances and this is subject to Our agreement.
The display of the official nominated/finalist/highly commended/winner logo on Your website is mandatory in order to be included in the awards - these logos should be linked to www.whatson4littleones.co.uk and will be forwarded to You as the awards progress. Please note the alteration of the logos in any way is not permitted. Awards #tag is #whatson4kidsawards
Important note: Our acceptance of Your registration brings into existence a legally binding contract between Us on these terms and conditions. Any term sought to be imposed by You in any purchase order or correspondence will not form part of the contract.
Registration will be deemed to be an acceptance of these terms.
Nomination and Registration Process
Once you are nominated you will receive an email with the link to register for the awards and select your award category. One nomination and one registration in any award category via the online forms will be required to go through to the judging/voting stage for that award category.
Once registered you do not need to re-register (even if you receive further communications regarding nominations) UNLESS you wish to be entered in further award categories.
Nominees may choose not to be part of the awards by notifying us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 24 2017.
Successful registered nominees will be published on Our website once nominations have closed and this will accessible via http and standard Web browsers.
Those registered nominees also consent to their comments and reasons for specific nominations being published and/or made public at the organiser’s discretion. (Please note the details of the nominator WILL NOT be revealed unless their permission is requested and given).
Registration Invoicing and Payment

Registration administration fees (including any card processing and/or booking fees applicable) are payable upon registration.
Payment must be made in pounds Sterling by PayPal.
If any amount properly due to us under or in connection with these terms and conditions remains outstanding beyond the due date We may:
a. charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 8% per annum above the base rate of Lloyds Bank PLC from time to time (which interest will accrue daily until the date of actual payment, be compounded quarterly, and be payable on demand); or
b. claim interest and statutory compensation pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).
Cancellations and Amendments
All requests for cancellations and/or transfers to registration must be received in writing.
Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received.
The appropriate cancellation charge will apply based on the cost of Your registration (excluding any card processing fees and/or booking fees previously applied), as shown below.

50% refund of the registration admin fee
Between 0 and 14 calendar days (inclusive)
No refund will be given
In the event of a registered nominee being unable to participate, we will accept substitution of another qualifying nominee on the condition that written notification of the substitution has been received by Us by the close of registrations date.
In the event of cancellation of the awards by Us, We will endeavour to inform all registered nominees, although please be aware that this is not always possible. All registration administration fees paid will be reimbursed in full, or the payment will be transferred in full to another event. We shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc.
You may move to an alternative award category at Our discretion. Please ensure you have read the award category criteria BEFORE You register to avoid errors therefore. If You have any queries please email email@example.com.
Every care and consideration is made to ensure that voting is fair. Email addresses and IP addresses of all online voting are collected with online validation and random spot checks. By voting or nominating you are agreeing that What's On 4 may contact you via email. You may opt-out of email correspondence at any time.
Nominees should encourage voting but NOT vote on any parents' behalf as this could lead to multiple IP addresses being recorded and votes being automatically discounted without notice.
Online votes may not be included without notice if What's On 4 Ltd believe they are not genuine votes or if voting has been incentivised in any way.
Determining the Awards of winners, highly commended and finalists
Awards are made from online voting results only. The Industry Champion of the Year is judged by the Children’s Activities Association Board only.
The finalists who receive the highest number of votes will be notified by email after the voting closes and invited to the awards presentation event at NatWest, 280 Bishopsgate, London on October 4. Winners and Highly Commended are required to receive their award at this event. You may send a representative in special circumstances and this is subject to Our agreement.
We reserve the right not to make an Award in a particular award category.
If an entry receives an Award, the manner and details of announcing this Award is strictly within the discretion of What's On 4 Ltd. Entrants understand that all Awards may not be given or publicised in the same manner.
There may be prizes for some of the award categories advertised. There is no cash alternative to the stated prize. We reserve the right to offer a similar prize, or a prize of equal or greater value, if the stated prize is unavailable. Prizes will be dispatched to the winners within 60 days of the awards presentation unless otherwise agreed.
The decision of What's On 4 Ltd is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.
Awards Ceremony Event
Winners and Highly Commended are required to receive their award at this event. You may send a representative in special circumstances and this is subject to the agreement of the organisers.
One free ticket to the awards ceremony are available to each finalist and extra guest tickets will be available for a small fee subject to availability.
Any incurred expenses by You to attend the awards ceremony will not be paid for by Us.
Please note these are business awards and the awards ceremony is not suitable for children to attend.
All those who nominate and vote will be entered into a competition to join us on the day of the event. Please note this competition is not open to finalists.
We shall not be liable to refund of fees or for any other penalty should the awards be cancelled due to war, fire, strike lock-out, industrial action, tempest, accident, civil disturbance or any other cause whatsoever beyond their control.
These terms and conditions, together with the event details and our contact details, set out the whole of Our agreement relating to the event. These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing signed by a Director of What’s On 4 Ltd. In particular, no terms and conditions incorporated within Your purchase order and nothing said by any person on behalf of Us should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. We shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
