At a critical time in your child’s formative years, Rhythm Time offers a wide variety of activities. These activities help brain development, balance, concentration, listening skills and language which in turn help with reading, writing, maths, co-ordination and socialising.
Rhythm Time also helps stimulate your child’s imagination and also develops specific musical concepts such as rhythm, pitch and listening. It’s the perfect foundation for school and future music making!
Rhythm Time’s baby classes and Young Baby Courses will help the development of your baby from birth+.
Our Young Baby Courses have been created specifically for very young babies from birth to 6 months. These focus on developmental and multi-sensory activities specifically designed for very young babies and their early development.
You'll have access to our Facebook Member's Hub where you can join in with weekly online classes for all ages at a time to suit you. Plus enjoy loads of short activity videos and musical ideas for home.

In toddler class you'll receive a new CD/download every term as part of your class fee and in baby class you'll receive a baby book with musical ideas for home!

Meet Laura Justice
Hello, my name is Laura and I love running Rhythm Time Yorkshire North West! I took my twins to Rhythm Time in Skipton for two years before I took over in 2017. They absolutely loved the classes and are both now very excited that Ratatat (our friendly listening bunny) lives with us!
Before Rhythm Time I worked as a freelance professional recorder player (yes, you did read that right!) since graduating from The Royal College of Music in London. I had four fantastic years studying there and had been making my living from teaching recorder to all ages and abilities, performing with chamber groups and occasionally orchestras, and even ending up as editor of The Recorder Magazine!
I love singing with my two little ones and can't wait to share the wonders of music and singing with other families through Rhythm Time. I might even have to sneak a recorder or two into classes occasionally!
When I'm not singing around the house or playing my recorders you might see me hanging off a rope somewhere (or more likely holding a rope for my husband) at Malham Cove or Kilnsey crag in the Yorkshire dales. I love photography, climbing, skiing, going to the opera and my sewing machine - when I get the time!
